I love out little home. We live on the top floor of an apartment building in the Italian district of the city. Our ceilings are a bajillion feet high, and that goes for the bedroom ceilings as well. Oh, the bedroom. For the last 3 years we have lived here, it has been SO dark- a very deep burgundy. In the last year I have grown to dislike it quite a bit, enough to paint the room a straw colour last week. I was on the ladder a lot. I have some photos from our home- well, mostly the new bedroom, but I have one from the kitchen wash sink as well.

Such sweet little corners. & I spy a Sonja Ahlers bunny!
t'is the season for repainting!
your room looks so peaceful. like sleeping in a cloud!
our new place was completely painted in ivories and whites before we moved in... all except the terracotta-orange kitchen, that is. it was driving me INSANE! i finally did something about it last week and now it's a soft white with charcoal backsplash. totally not my typical carnie-colour-barf style, but it goes with the rest of the place now.
very grown-up. perhaps i'm finally leaving adolescence!
Maya, Mayita! your use of the tactile letters as art on our wall warms my teacher's heart :)
